I have been interested in Quarter Horses since 1990. During my High school years I didn’t have much time to indulge in riding and Quarter Horses since high school took up the greater part of my time. Here in Luxembourg we learn three languages: German, French and English along with Maths, Chemistry and Physics. I graduated from high school in 1994. In the fall of 1994 I started my undergraduate studies in Namur, Belgium at the Faculté Universitaire Notre Dame de la Paix. In 1996 I then transferred to Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. Until then I was studying pre-veterinary studies. In the fall of 1996 I changed my major to Biological Sciences. Related links of my research can be viewed here : links 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 In between studying and taking exams I managed to ride my mare ‘Cookie’ (Munez Lori Lee) 2-3 times a week. Through the contact with all the American breeders and Quarter Horse enthusiasts I acquired a comprehensive knowledge of the American Quarter Horse breed. In November of 1998 I returned to Luxembourg with two Quarter Horses: Jaz Mighty Mouse and Munez Lori Lee, and the third one: Doc N Mighty Mouse in utero along with 900 Lbs of other luggage. In 2000 I acquired two more mares: Docs Cally Cat and Apple Power both two grand cutting horses and broodmares. In 2001 I bought Pocochex Shows Heart a 1998 grullo stallion out of superior Western Pleasure lines.

I enjoy riding and breeding these great versatile horses. both Jaz Mighty Mouse and Pocochex Shows Heart are being bred to a small number of Quarter Horse mares each year. |
